Principal's Message
Welcome to the North Star Middle School Web Page. This year we have upgraded our district webpage to allow useful tools for students, parents, and teachers. All of our teachers will have the ability and responsibility for creating and maintaining their own school web page. This teacher page will have three key elements that parents will find useful to help their students be successful. Each teacher will have a home page that will give you basic information about the teacher. This information will include grade level taught, subjects taught, and contact information. Additionally teachers will have a calendar page that will identify dates of upcoming assignments, tests, and quizzes. The last element will be the teacher's assignment page. This link will give an ongoing list of current assignments and past due assignments. This page will be updated weekly in order to provide you with accurate information. While these are three key elements that I am sure you will find extremely helpful, this new site is packed with information that will allow you to be more informed about what goes on here at North Star Middle School and what is expected from your students. I hope you will find time to explore the site for all that is has to offer. Our teachers are still in the process of being trained in all of these features. Some are already using some of these features. It is my expectation that these three key elements will be updated and accurate for the start of the second nine weeks.
